Celebration day at Concordia Higher Secondary School in Barugur, India
On March 29, Concordia Higher Secondary School in Barugur, India celebrated the dedication of their newly renovated chapel and the installation of a smart board and 15 computers. The school also held thanksgiving celebration for the dedication of missionaries from The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) to establish the churches, hospitals and schools throughout Southern India.
The computers and smart board were donated by Mr. Kulendai Francis, philanthropist and founder of the Integrated Village Development Project. Mrs. Glory Rosaline will train the teachers and students at Concordia Higher Secondary School how to use the computers and integrate technology into their lessons.
Dr. P. Lawrance Inbaraj, principal and correspondent, published a booklet of biographies of all of the LCMS Missionaries who served in the area, which Dr. Inbaraj distributed to all who attended the dedication and installation ceremony. The school has also established March 29 as LCMS Day, and will celebrate the work of the LCMS missionaries annually.
