Global schools500reformation Day

Global schools500reformation Day

Celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation gives us a unique opportunity to highlight how the Reformation stimulated a movement of Christian education that has touched every corner of the globe. Throughout the summer, the town of Wittenberg, Germany, will be hosting visitors who will learn about the impact of the Reformation on faith and society at the World Reformation Exhibition, opening on May 20th. The Protestant Education pavilion will sponsor conversations and presentations of the 95 theses project that was completed last year, as well as highlight schools worldwide through video presentations of “A day in the life” that have been submitted from schools500reformation participating schools. Has your school joined the schools500reformation network yet?

June 23rd is a special day of the Exhibition. It is designated as the Global schools500reformation Day. On this day, Protestant schools around the world will participate in a jointly-timed event. One of own member schools, Vox Dei Academy, will be one of the participating schools. This day is also connected with the Global Day of Service. Many of our member schools will be on summer holiday or completing semester end exams on this day. However, for those schools who are in session, we welcome you to take this opportunity to join with other Protestant schools worldwide and celebrate the blessings of education centered in Jesus Christ!
