The Seibo Gauken – or Holy Hope School – in Hanno is a middle and high school of over 1000 students. Its principal is Mr. Sumikho Seki. One of its claims to fame is a great baseball team that went to the national finals in 2008.
The Urawa Lutheran School also includes a primary school. Its principal is Mr. Fumio Fujikura. Its history dates back to 1953.
The Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary share a campus. The Principal of the Seminary is Dr. Naozumi Eto and that of the College is Dr. Kazuhiro Ichikawa.
